Kerry and the South-West is renowned for its long mountain ranges and peaks, with Irelands top three highest mountains all located here. This tour will showcase some of these hikes whilst progressing through a variety of landscapes and terrians. Hike over Irelands tallest mountain ranges, experience a beautiful walk around one of Kerry's famous lakes. Stay in beautiful accommodations with majestic rural settings. This six-day tour will progress from challenging to easy on alternative days.

Itinerary
Day 1
Accommodation (Cloghane) or Dingle two night stay. Arrive at the Dingle Peninsula, one of Kerrys most beautiful areas with stunning views in every direction. Famous for its diverse landscapes from cliffs and sea caves to native woodlands. The perfect place to start your tour.
Day 2
Mount Brandon | 760 meters | journey time 4 hours | Hard - Depart your accommodation for a 15mt trip to the start of your hike & Irelands 9th highest Peak at Mount Brandon. A challenging climb with fantastic views over the Dingle Peninsula and Atlantic ocean, The hike is a steady incline with 12 marked crosses at each stage as you progress to the summit. A truly memorable climb and definitely one of Kerrys nicest trails.
Day 3
Dingle Lighthouse and boat tour | 1.5 hour roundtrip | easy flat route - Day 3 will consist of a beautiful walk to Dingle Lighthouse. A stunning walk with the Sea to one side and the rolling hills and farmers lands on the other. In the afternoon, take a 1 hour boat tour around Dingle bay, cruise around the harbour and into the bay and learn about the local maritime history, the era of the landlords, the Great Famine and Dingle's historical connections to Spain and France.
Day 4
Carrauntoohil Mountain and Devil's Ladder Loop, Killarney National Park | 930m | Journey time 5.5 - 6 hrs | Hard climb - Deport your accommodation for your hike to the Iconic Carrauntoohil climb and loop. This is Irelands highest peak and one not to be missed. Experience the beautiful lakes, forests, cliffs and stunning ridges passing Devils Ladder as you make your way to the summit. Here you can take in the full beauty of the Macgillycuddy's Reeks mountain range. Return for your two night stay in the Vibrant town of Killarney.
Killarney is set on the shores of Lough Leane. Brim full of history, heritage, activities and its world famous hospitality. A two night stay is required to take in the full experience. Highlights include Muckross House and Gardens and the Killarney national park.
Day 5
Killarney National Park Loop walk – Enjoy a beautiful 8.2km walk around the Irelands oldest national park. Dating back to 1932, this gorgeous countryside loop takes in a variety of sites and terrain as you make your way round the lough. Experience lovely woodlands & check out the many varieties of Wildlife. Finish of your day with a visit to Ross Castle.
Day 6
Gap of Dunloe | Strickeen Killarney National Park – 376m | 2.5 to 3hrs to complete | moderate climb - Continue your visit of Killarney national park with a stunning visit to the Gap of Dunloe. Climb to the summit of Strickeen. This is a beautiful hike with spectacular views of Carrauntoohil and surrounding glacial terrain.
